On March 18th 2013 Just Rebecca Photographys Brand new Website went live

All Galleries are brand new with loads more recent work..All new info and current pricing etc is now up to date..My blog is now also integrated.So its not longer linked to a seperate ssite..All future blogs will be done via my Just Rebecca Photography website.
This blog site will still stay live and online ( www.photographersbirmingham.org.uk) but any future posts from now on, will be posted on my Just Rebecca Photography site..so be sure to bookmark the blog section for up to date posts.
Interested to hear your thoughts on the new site, any bugs, problems, navigation issues etc..screen size issues etc..Please let me know any difficulites you come across…Hope you all like it
Still a couple of things to tweak, and no doubt will be a few teetihing probs as its a brand new re-design..and there is still a couple of galleries to add..But i couldnt wait to upload it and get it live..i LOVE it and thinks it showcases all of my work beautifully…..Massive Thanks to my Husband for helping me with the site ..LOVE YOU ♥ xxxxxxx

The show off screen is great for Wedding receptions..Hen doos, Birthday Parties, Corporate events..Kids parties….Costs £200..Rebecca will take photos for 1.5 hours..using a fully Portable studio kit..and Background and a bag full of props..All pics uploaded to facebook for your guests to tag themselves and you get a CD of all the pics to keep..Get in touch if you want to book this x
Lisa & Wayne renew their vows..St Chads Church
Lisa & Wayne are a wonderful family..They renewed their marriage vows at St Chads church on 19th January 2013 , with a very intimate ceremony.St Chads is where i got married 8 years ago, so was lovely to be back there again.
..Lisa also celebrated her 30th Birthday too..so a joint celebration was in order and everyone had a great time at the party afterwards at Sutton Town Football Club..The show off screen was a big hit there.
Lisa & Wayne have had several shoots with me at the studio as a family, Boudoir and a location shoot in the rapeseed yellow fields…They are a fab hardworking couple..with a lovely family, and i thank them so much for their loyalty xxx
Baby Oliver is Christened..St Annes RC Streetly
Baby Oliver was born in October 2012 and i was thrilled to be asked to photograph him when he was born…Baby Oliver was baptised on 20th January 2013 surrounded by all his family and friends..It was an honour to be asked to photograph his special day..Olivers mom and dad are one of my Wedding couples from 2011..What an amazing couple of years they have had…and what an honour it has been to be a part of it all….We have become great friends, and i cant wait for more shoots as Oliver grows up..Photographer & friend forever xx

Always busy at this time of year, as wedding season comes to an end, Studio portraits go crazy..Everyone wants lovely family pics for Xmas pressies..Makes a Great Gift..Gift Vouchers Available for the person thats hard to buy for..£90 family shoot voucher valid for 1 year, entitles the recipient to recieve:
A 1 hour shoot with me, in Tamworth studio (or outdoors on Location like the woods or local park)

Receieved a BEAUTIFUL and thoughful card from one of my fabulous couples..Jenny & Dave Cannon..they stalked my personal facebook for pics of me and my family..to make me a beautiful thankyou card with such lovely words inside too..”to a photographic legend!” haha i love it …Just wanted to share as it truly made my day..xx
Also on Sept 1st did a wedding for Joanne & Warren..An fantastic couple(as are all my B&G’s)..After the speeeches they presented me with a beautiful silver heart shaped mirror..With an engraved message on the top saying ‘Thankyou’..what a wondeful surprise and present..i ♥ my job..and i consider you all my friends xx…I have a drawer full of thankyou cards, and i keep them all..so Many Many Thanks..means the world xxxx

Kelly & Stuart married..St Peters Maney & Royal Hotel
Kelly & Stuart were married on 18th June 2011 at St Peters Church Maney, Sutton Coldfield..When Kelly & Stuart booked me for their wedding photography about a year ago, i was excited as they had chosen a fairy/Labyrinth theme for their day..Labyrinth , the film with David Bowie as the Goblin King, and Sarah , baby Toby and Hoggle!..was my favourite EVER film as a child growing up..I watched it that many times i knew the script off by heart and would annoy my sister by speaking the lines throughout the whole film lol
On the day i arrived at St Peters and it was PELTING down with rain..but as soon as Kelly arrived ( in a cool Vintage Police Car!) , the clouds moved and it was a glorious sunny day..Very lucky indeed.
Kellys Bridesmaids all wore beautiful Fairy dresses..and Kelly as a Fairy Bride wore a beautiful White Fairy dress….Stuart and his groomsmen all wore hints of Claret, to fit in with Kellys love of the Villa….They all looked Fabulous.
After the ceremony we had a few group pics and finished at the church with the confetti..One of my Fave wedding pics, ive ever taken..is below..As Kelly & Stuart ran through the confetti..A piece of blue confetti, fell between the couple and formed a perfect love heart..I never noticed till i got the pics on my computer and thought WOW..no photoshop whatsoever..A sign of True love if ever i saw one..AMAZING!!
After the Church we headed to the Royal Hotel in Sutton..Fab reception venue..Contemporary styling and Furnishings made for fabulous wedding pics…A Harpist wearing fairy wings played background music as they ate their Wedding Breakfast, followed by fab speeches, cutting their beautiful fairy wedding cake, and sharing their First dance…The night was rounded off with the © Show off Screen for some fun pics of their Tipsy guests ..and the Bride of groom of course
There was a Robin Red Breast hiding in the bush at the Church and a single Magpie on the wall at the Royal Hotel..These plus the spooky confetti shot made for a truly magical fairytale wedding just as they wanted..This couple are clearly meant to be ..Thanks so much for choosing Just Rebecca Photography..Selection of my faves from the day are below..Rest coming on CD very soon xxxxx
Nicki & Chris Married xx..Moor Hall
Nicki and Christopher were married on June 11th 2011 at Moor Hall hotel in Sutton Coldfield..A wonderful Wedding venue, with wonderful photo opportunities.
I began the day with Nicki in her Hotel room for preps while she and her bridesmaids had their hair and makeup done..Nicki wore an amazing dress, and a FAB pair of ‘Irregular Choice’ shoes..One of my fave shoe shots below..I caught a fab shadow from the bandstand..Really beautiful.
The weather was changeable all day..When it rained.. it rained hard, but when the sun came out it was beautiful and really warm..So was great to get some shots outside to make the most of Moor Halls amazing grounds and Sunken Garden..A little hidden gem too behind the sunken gardens is a Massive woodland..Which i used of course..i love unusual places for great unique pics!
The tables for the Wedding Breakfast were themed with the couples favourite films..The quotes they used were just gorgeous and sums it all up” Once in a while…Right in the middle of an ordinary life..Life gives us a Fairytale”…Amazing xx
And Finally, Nicki & Chris announced to everyone during the speeches that they are expecting their first baby!!..Wonderful news..Great surprise for everyone…Many Congratulations xx

Kira & Tony Married xx..Moxhull Hall
Kira & Tony were married on 10th June 2011 at The Fabulous Moxhull Hall..They were incredibly lucky with the weather and managed to have their ceremony outside in Moxhulls beautiful gardens.
Kira did an absolultely brilliant job planning this wedding..She did all her Bridemaids hair and makeup on the day before her own and they all looked fantastic..Her attention to detail was lovely too..A vintage inspired theme throughout ..A brilliant handmade Table Plan frame, made by Kira..draped in Pearls…Nude coloured dresses for the bridesmaids..and Groomsmen wore Brown Suits..The Vintage theme continued to Kiras AMAZING lace beaded dress..She looked simply stunning.
Kira had booked another photographer for her wedding..but after seeing my pics and finding out about me, she Forfeited her deposit and booked me instead..Very honoured..I hope you feel you made the right decision Kira..I really enjoyed shooting your wedding..Was a fab day xx
Kira was dead set on not having any of the posed photos for her wedding..So 98 % of their wedding day coverage was Natural spontaneous pics..Just how i like to shoot to be honest..Telling the real story of the day in pictures..Then when the couple see all their pics, its a nice surprise for them as they wont know or remember any of the pics i was taking..So even more exciting.
I was with Kira all morning for her preps, right through til First dance..The couple added the ©’Show off screen’ to their coverage for a fun lot of pics to complete their day…Great wedding..Great pics,.Few faves below..Rest on CD coming soon..Thanks for choosing Just Rebecca Photography xxx
Gemma & Nathan Married xx Grimscote Manor
Gemma & Nathan were married at Grimscote Manor ,Coleshill on 28th May ..A new Venue for me, and it didnt dissapoint..Lovely place with lovely outdoor space for photos.
Gemma wore a beautiful layered chiffon dress..One of the nicest dresses ive seen(and ive seen a lot!)..Nathan & The Boys arrived to the Hotel in style in a Black stretch Audi, dressed in Grey suits and Hot Pink accessories.
Nathan bought Gemma a lovely DKNY bracelet as a wedding gift..Really lovely and romantic(see pic below of it)
After some prep pics in the hotel room of Gemma getting ready,we all headed to the ceremony room downstairs..Gemmas Brother Richard gave her away (Im also photographing Richards wedding in September!)..
A lovely Civil ceremony, followed by Photos in the picturesque grounds of Grimscote and then guests enjoyed dinner in the Marquee, which was decorated Beautifully to compliment Gemma & Nathans Pink theme.

rimscote houses 2 Stunning and rare Pure White Peacocks, and we were kindly allowed to have them out for some unique photos with The Bride & Groom.

I was really chuffed to be asked to photograph baby Lyla..as her daddy is an old friend from my senior school..Its always nice to photograph old friends, who thanks to Facebook, i would probably never have seen again..(let alone photograph them!)
Jon and I were in the same class at Arthur Terry from 1992-1996..omg 15 years ago!!!
Jonathan Lewis and his lovely wife Julie now own a Fab hairdressers In Sutton Coldfield www.thehairroomsuttoncoldfield.co.uk ,and are now proud parents to beautiful 9 week old baby Lyla-who i had the pleasure of photographing last week.
